Our holiday apartment is situated in a historic magnificent eclectic 19th century building in a quiet side road of the Boulevards Andrássy út., near to Place Oktogon in the VI. district.
Within walking distance you will find many places of interest as the Opera, Music Academia, St. Stephan’s Basilica, Heroes Place with Museum of Visual Arts, Hall of Arts and Széchenyi Bath, Café New York, House of Terror and West Station. Nearby there are numerous pubs and restaurants at Liszt Ferenc Place and various shops. Oktogon Place is crossed by the large circular road connecting the city from Margaret Bridge to Petöfi Bridge. You will find there the tram ways No. 4 and 6 as well as the old metro M1 (inaugurated in 1896 as the first electric power train of the continent), driving from the Danube to Heroes Place.

FROM THE AIRPORT BY TAXI
The airport Liszt Ferenc Budapest is situated approx. 17 km from the city core. The taxi trip costs about 25 - 30 Euro.
FROM THE AIRPORT BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Every 10 minutes a bus No. 100E Airport Express is going from the airport directly to the center of Deak-Ferenc Place. It costs 2200 Forint, about 6 Euro. From Deak-Ferenc Place you may go by foot along the magnificent Boulevad Andrassy út toward Oktogon (about 1 km) or you take the Metro M1 to Mexikói út and leave the train at Oktogon (about 3 minutes), approx. 1 Euro). From Oktogon you take the direction of Heroes Place along the Andrássy út, turn to the right at the first street, which is the Eötvös u. On the left side you will find Eötvös u. 11/a next to the Spanish Embassy.
